We have an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in project support and management in the education sector, to join us as a project support apprentice. No previous experience is required to be eligible for this role.
The project support apprentice will support project managers in the administration of their projects, helping to ensure that the agreed project plans are implemented to time, budget and quality.
This is an interesting and varied role providing administrative support to members of your project team, contract workers and customers to enable them to carry out their own roles. You will provide a consistent point of contact and will also be involved in maintaining and updating project documentation, arranging meetings, collating materials and supporting company events.
To be eligible, it is essential that you have good GCSEs in English and Mathematics and can work well with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
We are looking for candidates who also have:
- a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- an ability to work to deadlines with limited supervision.
- good communication skills and numeracy to support the team and work with customers
- recognition of the importance of and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to the right candidate. In addition you will register on the L3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with the Apprentice Academy, Manchester.
The successful applicant will be joining our core team of 27 staff normally based in the head office. The working days are Monday to Friday. The office is COVID-19 secure. Time spent in the office may be limited for the time being, in which case full support will be provided for you to be able to work from home.
