This unit will have all the standard features of GreenMech's Chippers i.e. No Stress control and Disc Blade Chipping/Shredding Technology, and is a compact outfit to access household driveways and restricted areas with ease. The GreenMech Combi unit is capable of chipping up to 150mm (6-inch) and shredding 50mm (2-inch) of all forms of green waste even if wet or contaminated with soil, stones etc. The GreenMech Eco Combi has been modified to enable the processed material to be loaded into bags at the kerbside and given back to the householder for composting or mulch.

The trials have indicated that each household has on average 5-10 bags of about 22kg, with good route planning an average of 2 households per hour can be visited giving in excess of 6000kg per week of green waste being processed and removed from the waste system, this more than covers operating costs and leaves the operating Authority no disposal costs.
