16/07/07 Alpha Plus Group Show Support for Local Charity
Alpha Plus Group is showing support for the 'Sick Kids Friends Foundation'. The charity are receiving donations from the Prestonfield Pro-Am which itself is sponsored by STV. The Pro-Am is expecting over 50 teams to enter and is contributing 25% of the proceeds to the charity.
Steve Matthews, Managing Director of Alpha Plus Group, and a keen golfer himself was delighted to have the chance to help the local community by sponsoring a team;
"I think it's important for companies such as ourselves to put something back to the community and this event not only gives me the chance to contribute financially, but also to personally show support for a local charity that does such important work."
Alpha Plus Group have been a part of the local community for almost 16 years and have supported a number of local events and charities. They currently sponsor local rugby club Livingston RFC and Kingsfield Driving Range.
